Cookie policy
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies such as localStorage and IndexedDB store data on your device without sending it anywhere by themselves. This page lists everything GTA6Sidekick uses.
1. Necessary (always on)
These are required for the site to work and need no consent.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| g6s_consent | localStorage | Remembers your cookie choice and when you made it | 12 months |
| g6s_signup | localStorage | Remembers that you joined the launch list so we do not ask again | 12 months |
| g6s_install | localStorage | Remembers whether you dismissed the "install app" hint | 90 days |
| g6s_tracker, g6s_owned, g6s_prefs | localStorage / IndexedDB | Your checklist progress, the items you own for the optimizer and app preferences | Until you clear them |
| sb-*-auth-token | localStorage | Keeps you signed in to your account (Supabase) | Until sign-out, refreshed weekly |
| Service worker cache | Cache storage | Makes the app load instantly and work offline | Until updated or cleared |
| paddle_* | cookie | Set by Paddle during checkout to complete a purchase and prevent fraud | Session to 1 year |
2. Statistics (consent)
Not in use at the moment. When we add statistics cookies we will ask for your consent first and list them here.
3. Advertising (consent)
Not in use at the moment. The free version will show ads after launch; we will ask for your consent before any advertising cookie is set and list them here.
4. Changing or withdrawing your choice
As soon as optional cookies are introduced, a banner will ask for your consent before anything is set. You will then be able to change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer, with one click, and cookies of a category you switch off are deleted immediately. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.
5. Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode v2. All Google consent signals (ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) default to "denied" and are only set to "granted" for the categories you accept.
