Stockyard in GTA 6: the Vice City district with Stock 305 and Electric Fang

Rockstar ties two named shops to Stockyard, a Vice City district first spotted on Trailer 1 road signs. Here is everything confirmed so far.

Stockyard is a Vice City district that Rockstar has never described but has quietly attached two named businesses to. It first surfaced as text on screen in the reveal trailer, and resurfaced when pre-orders opened and Rockstar started listing shops by neighbourhood12.

How Stockyard was confirmed

GamesRadar's Trailer 1 breakdown noted road signs and on-screen text pointing to what looked like city districts named Stockyard and Downtown, alongside Kelly County, Catalan Boulevard, the VCI airport, Vice Beaches and Port VC2. Nothing in Rockstar's Only in Leonida write-up of Vice City mentions Stockyard, which stayed the case even after the site's big location update5.

The two shops

Rockstar's edition and pre-order copy names Stockyard twice. Stock 305 is described as Stockyard's premier destination for elevated streetwear, offering unique looks for both Jason and Lucia. Electric Fang is described as Stockyard's most iconic ink bar, with more than 50 signature tattoos for both protagonists, all designed by the artist collective FAILE. Both are listed as Ultimate Edition content1.

  • Stock 305 clothing store, with exterior and interior shots in Rockstar's own gallery1
  • Electric Fang tattoo parlour, identified by a neon wolf sign reflecting off wet asphalt1
  • Both shops are flagged as "only open for business with the Ultimate Edition"1

PC Gamer grouped these among the shops that are likely based in Vice City and pointed out that the information only exists because it arrived with the pre-order announcement, not because Rockstar has toured the district3.

What the shops look like

Rockstar's own gallery captions give a sense of both places. Stock 305 gets four images: Lucia leaning against a van outside while Jason sits on the van roof, Jason against a wall display inside, the shop exterior, and Lucia leaning on a table indoors1. Electric Fang gets a neon wolf sign reflecting off wet asphalt at night, Lucia with a buzz cut in the tattoo chair while an artist in a white ski mask works on her thigh, the pair posing at the entrance under the signage, and a large back piece being worked on in front of an arcade cabinet1. Both are full interiors with staff in them, which is more than most named GTA 6 locations can claim13.

The real-world reading

The store name Stock 305 borrows Miami's area code, which fits the district's streetwear and tattoo identity. Community mapping projects go further and place a Stockyard district in the game's Miami-Dade analogue, matching it to Wynwood, Miami's warehouse-turned-street-art neighbourhood4. That identification comes from fan work including leaked material and is not confirmed by Rockstar43.

Rockstar's gallery shows both shops with staff and customers inside rather than empty storefronts, Jason and Lucia posed with a mechanic-style backdrop at Stock 305 and an artist mid-tattoo at Electric Fang, which suggests Stockyard's interiors were built as populated spaces rather than simple menus layered over a static shopfront1.

What is still unknown

Rockstar has published no description of Stockyard itself, no map position, and no indication whether the district holds anything beyond the two shops. Because both are Ultimate Edition content, it is also unclear what the district offers players on the standard edition13.

Real-world inspiration in detail

The Wynwood identification is stronger than a name guess. Miami New Times matched actual Wynwood Walls murals in the reveal footage, down to graffiti tags resembling the real work of Miami street artist KBT, which is a level of specificity the paper otherwise reserved for named buildings like the Brickell towers and Ocean Drive hotels6. That makes Stockyard one of the few unofficial district identifications backed by a direct visual match rather than just a plausible name6.

Gameplay hints

PC Gamer's map coverage separately reports an Ultimate Edition mission built around raiding the PTT Youngin$ Illegal Goods Store, described as the compound of one of Southside Vice City's loudest and most socially active gangs, escaped from with special items and contraband7. Rockstar's own copy does not explicitly place that store inside Stockyard, but it sits in the same run of Vice City edition content as Stock 305 and Electric Fang, which suggests the district may hold more than the two shops it is currently known for71.

The real Wynwood was itself a former garment-district warehouse area that reinvented itself around street art and galleries starting in the late 2000s, which lines up neatly with a fictional Stockyard built around a tattoo parlour and a streetwear boutique rather than heavy industry. If Rockstar is tracking that history, Stockyard's name may be a holdover from an earlier, more industrial identity for the area, similar to how the real Wynwood still carries associations with its garment-district past even though most visitors know it for murals6.

How it compares to Vice City (2002)

There is no Stockyard or Wynwood-style arts district in the 2002 game, whose commercial spaces were mostly generic. A tattoo parlour and streetwear store built around a named artist collective, FAILE, and matched to real graffiti tags is a different order of specificity, and it fits the wider pattern of GTA 6 leaning on real, sometimes very local, Miami culture rather than inventing a generic urban backdrop16.

Unconfirmed: the Wynwood identification is community mapping, and Rockstar has never described Stockyard in its own words.
