Andres de Leon in GTA 6: the Megamundo client from the Extended Look

Andres de Leon is one of the new faces Rockstar introduced without fanfare in the 26-minute Extended Look shown on August 27, 2026. He does not appear on the official character page and has no published bio, so everything below comes from press and community coverage of that footage.¹²

What the Extended Look showed

Gulf News describes the mission plainly: after the audition heist with Raul Bautista, Jason and Lucia turn up in formalwear for a private security job protecting a wealthy young man named Andres de Leon. The job starts at his private jet and moves to the grand opening of Megamundo's first United States headquarters, a Spanish-language television network. Once there, Andres and his entourage take drugs in a conference room while the company's chief operating officer tries to pull Jason down into the party. The sequence marks the first time the showcase puts Jason and Lucia into formal corporate surroundings rather than the street-level Keys and Vice City locations seen earlier, which is itself a signal of how far their circumstances have already changed.²⁵

The event is attacked. Armed men in medical masks and white jumpsuits, echoing the crew from the earlier apartment raid, storm the building and separate Jason and Lucia onto different floors. Gulf News describes Jason shooting his way through while shielding Andres, using a slow-motion ability to line up headshots. A French community dossier of the same footage instead reports that the attackers capture Andres, forcing Jason to fight through the venue to find him. The two accounts do not agree on that point and Rockstar has published nothing, so the outcome of the sequence should be treated as unsettled.²⁴

Fan trackers who logged the showcase add smaller details: Valentina works as his assistant and is the one who brings Jason and Lucia to him at the airport, he is characterised as a hugger, and at the point where he is needed downstairs to make the event's opening speech he is upstairs getting high with friends, leaving Jason to go and retrieve him. One dossier also describes him as the partner of the Megamundo executive Petra Navarro. None of that has been confirmed by Rockstar.³⁴

Relationships and rivalries

Every named connection Andres has runs through Megamundo. Valentina, herself a returning GTA Online face, works as his assistant and is the one who introduces him to Jason and Lucia. Community coverage adds Petra Navarro as a partner, though outlets disagree on whether Petra is the network's chief executive or chief operating officer, and none of it is confirmed by Rockstar. Nothing published so far explains who the masked attackers were targeting, Andres personally, Megamundo as a company, or Jason and Lucia by association with Boobie Ike's earlier job. Unlike Jason's Keys network of Brian, Cal and Raul, Andres has no confirmed tie to anyone outside the Megamundo sequence, which is part of why his page's confidence score sits well below theirs. That isolation could simply reflect how little of his story has aired so far, rather than anything meaningful about the character.³⁴

Community theories

Because the Megamundo attack follows so closely on the heels of the opening raid tied to the San4San gang and the drug contact Raymond, some fan discussion speculates the two incidents are connected, either the same organisation escalating against Jason and Lucia, or unrelated dangers that simply pile up as the pair get in over their heads. Rockstar has not linked the two scenes in any official material, so this stays a theory built from proximity in the footage rather than a confirmed plot thread.²⁴

Why he matters to the story

The structural point of the mission is escalation. Gulf News reads the whole showcase as a ladder: a failed pickup for Boobie Ike leads to Brian Heder, Brian leads to Raul Bautista, and Raul's crew leads to work like this, at which point Jason and Lucia are no longer robbing gas stations but guarding rich strangers inside corporate towers. Andres is the rung where the money and the danger both jump.²

That escalation is also the reason Andres works better as a demonstration than as a fully written character at this stage. Rockstar appears to be using him to show off scale, a private jet, a corporate headquarters, an armed assault with dozens of attackers, rather than to introduce a figure with the kind of specific, quotable bio the eight Only in Leonida characters received. Whether he gets that fuller treatment later, closer to launch, is unknown.²¹

What is still unknown

Rockstar has not confirmed the spelling of his name, his role at Megamundo or whether he works there at all, his relationship with Petra Navarro, why the venue was attacked, who the masked attackers are, or whether he survives. There is no announced voice actor. Because he was shown only in gameplay footage and not documented on the official site, even his surname rests on community transcription of the showcase, which is why this page carries lower confidence than the pages for the eight characters Rockstar has profiled.¹³

What would change this page

A future Rockstar character-page update naming him, a second trailer showing the outcome of the Megamundo attack, or any interview confirming his surname and job title would settle most of the open questions here and let this page's confidence score move up from where community-only sourcing currently holds it. Until then, this page will keep treating the disputed capture-versus-shielded detail as unsettled rather than picking a side.¹
