Andres de Leon and Petra Navarro in GTA 6: the Megamundo mission explained

Andres de Leon and Petra Navarro are two of the new faces Rockstar introduced without fanfare in the 26-minute Extended Look shown on August 27, 2026. Neither appears on the official character page or has a published bio, so everything on this page comes from press and community coverage of that footage, and it is rated accordingly¹². They share a page because they share a single sequence: the Megamundo mission, the point where Jason and Lucia's story jumps from street jobs to corporate money.

The Megamundo mission

Gulf News describes it plainly. After the audition heist with Raul Bautista, Jason and Lucia turn up in formalwear for a private security job protecting a wealthy young man named Andres de Leon. The job starts at his private jet and moves to the grand opening of Megamundo's first United States headquarters, a Spanish-language television network. Once there, Andres and his entourage take drugs in a conference room while the company's chief operating officer, Petra, tries to draw Jason down into the party²⁵.

Then the event is attacked. Armed men in medical masks and white jumpsuits, echoing the crew from the earlier apartment raid, storm the building and split Jason and Lucia onto different floors. Gulf News describes Jason shooting his way through while shielding Andres, using a slow-motion ability to line up headshots². A French community dossier of the same footage instead says the attackers capture Andres and Jason has to fight through the venue to find him⁴. The two accounts disagree, Rockstar has published nothing, and the outcome should be treated as unsettled.

Andres de Leon

Fan trackers add the smaller details: Valentina, the returning GTA Online character, works as his assistant and brings Jason and Lucia to him at the airport; he is characterised as a hugger; and when he is needed downstairs for the opening speech he is upstairs getting high with friends, leaving Jason to go and fetch him³⁴. Everything Andres is connected to runs through Megamundo, and nothing published explains whether the attackers were after him, the company, or Jason and Lucia³⁴.

Andres works more as a demonstration of scale than as a written character so far: a private jet, a corporate tower, an assault with dozens of attackers. The eight characters Rockstar profiled on its site got quotable bios; he has not, at least not yet²¹.

Petra Navarro

Petra is the executive who sets Jason's small errand in motion. Gulf News gives her one line, the chief operating officer trying to pull Jason into the party². Fan trackers give her more: one calls her the chief executive of Megamundo, introduced at a lavish penthouse event, who asks Jason to bring Andres downstairs for the speech; a French dossier calls her chief operating officer, visibly tired of Andres's behaviour, who first tells Jason to let him do as he likes and then wants him back in time³⁴.

Both accounts agree on the shape of the scene even where they disagree on her title: professional, exasperated with the man she works with, and the person who sends Jason upstairs. Her surname also comes only from community transcription; mainstream coverage calls her Petra. We use the full name because that is what people search for, but treat it as unverified²³⁴. One dossier describes her as Andres's partner, a claim no other source repeats⁴.

Why the accounts disagree

None of the outlets covering these two had a script, a credits list or a press kit. Every detail comes from watching a few minutes of the Extended Look and transcribing dialogue on the fly, and a COO and a CEO are easy to mix up in a crowded scene, as is a name overheard once²³⁴. That is a limit of pre-release reporting, not carelessness, and it is why this page keeps the disputed points open instead of picking a side.

Why the mission matters to the story

Gulf News reads the whole showcase as a ladder: a failed pickup for Boobie Ike leads to Brian Heder, Brian leads to Raul Bautista, and Raul's crew leads to work like this, at which point Jason and Lucia are no longer robbing gas stations but guarding rich strangers inside corporate towers². Andres is the rung where the money and the danger both jump. Some fans connect the masked attackers to the opening raid tied to the San4San gang and Raymond's drug lab, but Rockstar has not linked the two scenes²⁴.

What is still unknown

Rockstar has not confirmed either surname, Andres's role at Megamundo, Petra's job title, the relationship between them, who attacked the event, or whether Andres survives. No voice actors have been announced for either¹³.
