All GTA 6 characters: everyone Rockstar has officially named

Rockstar's Only in Leonida page is the complete official cast list as it stands: two protagonists and six supporting profiles, each with a short biography written by Rockstar itself. Everything below comes from that page unless stated otherwise¹.

The two playable characters

Jason Duval is the male protagonist. He was raised around grifters, spent time in the Army, and drifted back to the Leonida Keys to work for local drug runners¹. Lucia Caminos is the female protagonist, taught to fight by her father, recently released from Leonida Penitentiary, and set on giving her mother the life the family imagined back when they lived in Liberty City¹.

The six supporting characters Rockstar has profiled

• Cal Hampton: Jason's friend and another associate of Brian's. He stays home, drinks, monitors Coast Guard radio and believes most of what he reads online¹
• Boobie Ike: a Vice City fixture who converted street money into real estate, a strip club he calls the Jack of Hearts, and a recording studio¹
• Dre'Quan Priest: a former street dealer turned music executive who books acts into Boobie's club and now runs Only Raw Records with him¹
• Real Dimez: the duo Bae-Luxe and Roxy, friends since high school, who turned shaking down dealers into a rap career built on social media¹
• Raul Bautista: a veteran bank robber recruiting people prepared to take the biggest risks, and getting more reckless with every job¹
• Brian Heder: a Keys smuggler from the trade's golden age who still moves product through his boat yard and lets Jason live rent-free in one of his properties¹

Names that appear without a profile

A few more names turn up in Rockstar's own copy without getting a page of their own. Lori is Brian Heder's third wife and works the boat yard with him. DWNPLY is the local rapper whose early single with Real Dimez gave the duo their first hit, five years before they signed with Only Raw Records¹.

Rockstar's edition listings add more Leonida names attached to businesses rather than characters: Sara's Unisex Salon, One-Eyed Willie's mod shop, Rideout Customs, Electric Fang Tattoo, the Stock 305 clothing store, the PTT Youngin$ gang on Vice City's south side, and a mechanic named Wyman tied to a classic car collection².

Who plays them

Nobody knows. Rockstar has attached no actor to any role in Grand Theft Auto VI, and the names circulating for Jason and Lucia are community identifications from voice and likeness comparisons, not announcements⁴. Treat every cast list you see as unconfirmed until Rockstar publishes credits⁴.

How the cast was revealed

The reveal came in stages. Trailer 1 in December 2023 gave audiences Lucia and almost nobody else by name. Trailer 2, in May 2025, put the supporting cast on screen for the first time, and Rockstar followed it by publishing the Only in Leonida profiles that remain the definitive source for who these people are¹³.

That ordering matters when you read cast lists elsewhere. Anything naming a character who is not on the Only in Leonida page has been identified by viewers from footage, not announced. Some of those identifications will be right, but they carry no more weight than any other community finding¹.

How the cast connects

The eight profiled characters are not a flat list, they are two clusters. The Keys cluster is Jason, Brian Heder and Cal Hampton, three men tied together by Brian's smuggling operation and by the property Jason lives in rent-free¹. The Vice City cluster is Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest and Real Dimez, tied together by Only Raw Records and the club that funds it¹.

Lucia and Raul Bautista are the connectors. Lucia arrives from outside both circles with her own agenda, and Raul is a recruiter looking for people willing to take bigger risks than the crews they are already in¹. That structure explains why the official premise talks about a conspiracy stretching across the state rather than a single neighbourhood².

The exact words Rockstar gives each character

The Only in Leonida profiles are written in first person around each character rather than as a dry biography, and the site backs every one with a short line of dialogue. Boobie Ike's page reads, "The club money pay for the studio, and the drug money pay for it all," which is the plainest statement of how his businesses connect anywhere on the site¹. Dre'Quan Priest's line, "Dancers are like my A&Rs. If the record's a hit, DJs gonna be spinnin' it," tells you how he actually finds talent before signing it to Only Raw Records¹. Cal Hampton gets the darkest joke of the eight: "The psychopaths are in charge. Get used to it," delivered as a man who is, per his own profile, happy at the low tide of America¹.

How the cast compares to GTA 5's

Grand Theft Auto V named three protagonists and built its supporting cast around them gradually, revealing characters like Lester Crest and Devin Weston through marketing drip-fed over months⁵. GTA VI reversed that pace: Rockstar profiled its entire confirmed supporting cast, six characters, in one release alongside the two protagonists, rather than spacing reveals out¹. That is a smaller cast shown all at once, instead of a similar-sized cast shown gradually, and it changes how a page like this one gets written: there is very little left to add to piecemeal, because Rockstar did not leave gaps.

What a profile leaves out, on purpose

None of the eight profiles give an age, a last name for Lori, a hometown beyond Liberty City for Lucia's family, or a physical description beyond what is visible in the accompanying photography. That is consistent with how Rockstar wrote GTA V's cast pages too, where biography served tone rather than a résumé⁵. Treat every extra biographical detail you see elsewhere, including ages and full names, as fan extrapolation unless it traces back to this page or a video¹.
