No Tulip sighting has been confirmed by name in the August 27, 2026 Extended Look; coverage of that 26-minute cut, including Jalopnik's list of real-world counterparts spotted on screen, mentions a Chevelle-styled muscle car among the vehicles shown, which lines up with the Tulip's basis but was not tied to the Tulip name specifically, so treat that overlap as suggestive rather than confirmed¹¹.

Real-world inspiration

GTABase identifies the Tulip as a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu with elements of the 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme³. Other breakdowns simply read the closing-shot car as a 1972 Chevelle Malibu, which is the same conclusion by a shorter route⁴⁵. The four-door body is the important detail: most GTA muscle cars are two-doors, and a four-door sedan-bodied muscle car reads as a cheap, practical crime car rather than a trophy³.

The real car behind it
